Welcome to the Carmelite Sisters
by-the-Sea web site. We are a cloistered,
contemplative community of women, totally consecrated to Jesus
Christ. His love has called us together as sisters, to pray for the needs
of the Church and for the world.
Our
life with God draws us to deepest empathy with the sorrows, the joys and the hopes so
confidently entrusted to our prayers each day.
We lift these
concerns daily to the heart of God, Who is Love, and Who understands our
every need.
